Welcome to The Whitehouse, a boutique guesthouse set in a grand Georgian home in the South Hams Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

 

We are ideally situated between Salcombe and Dartmouth, the perfect accomodation for exploring both towns and their surrounds. Long stretches of stunning coastline stretch out on either side. Lush countryside, towns and villages are within striking distance. 

 

Romantic, individual, and relaxed, The Whitehouse is great for couples, families and groups. Well behaved dogs are very welcome in rooms 1, 2 and 4 (one dog per room). Book direct for the best rates and terms.

The stylish interiors include a lounge featuring comfy sofas, chairs to sink into, an open fire and two sets of french doors which open onto the garden.

 

The family room is well stocked with games, more relaxing seating and another open fire.

 

The bar is stocked with a selection of local ales, wines and spirits.

Our individually designed guest rooms are a mix of luxury and comfort, with a relaxed feel. The beds are huge, the bath robes and towels luxurious.

 

All of the rooms are spacious and well equipped with wall mounted smart TVs, dvd players and complimentary coffee, teas, water and organic milk. 

 

The showers are like rainstorms and the baths are big enough for two. REN bathroom products are provided.

 

There is good Wi-Fi throughout. Boutique.

We are within easy reach of dozens of south Devon beaches. Sunbathe, surf, windsurf, paddleboard, swim, fish or simply walk the dog along this amazing stretch of the coastal path. The walking trails on offer are amongst the best in the country.

 

The Whitehouse is perfectly located between the sailing towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth and just 5 miles from bustling Kingsbridge.

The area is a haven for foodies and lovers of local produce, spirits and wines. From our garden you can explore the network of public bridleways or even walk to the coast.
